Jammu and Kashmir administration has submitted Anti-Encroachment Policy to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs and it will be released shortly by the Union Territory Government after nod by the Home Ministry. Certain sections of society, mostly the poor, who have very minor encroachments on land used for construction of one or two room small houses or a small shop and kiosks are expected to be exempted from purview of anti-encroachment drive.
