Son of the soil Col Ranveer Jamwal who has scaled Mt Everest three times and highest mountains of all seven continents was felicitated by former J&K ex Dy CM Nirmal Singh. He has recently made two new national records in cycling and has returned after cycling to six covering 5374 kms in 37 days. He is presently Director, National Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports , Dirang (Arunachal pradesh).
