BJP has emerged as the single largest party with 75 seats in the Jammu and Kashmir District Development Council elections. National Conference came second with 63 and Independent got 50 seats. Jammu and Kashmir State Election Commissioner KK Sharma said the polls were conducted peacefully and every party was given every opportunity for campaigning.
