Jammu: IG traffic Jammu and Kashmir Basant Rath made sudden appearance at the stage where Pujabi singer Parmish Verma was belting out popular songs, to appeal the youth for obeying traffic rules.
Rath was greeted huge round of applause like a ‘Rockstar’ and he had made to make repeated appeals to the crowd to give him just a minute to allow him to speak for a minute. He repeatedly said, “ Give me a minute please .”
“Life is beautiful. It should not end with an accident. All of you make promise to wear helmet and seat belts,” Rath told the crowd, before leaving the stage.
