Jammu and Kashmir witnessed major events on many fronts in 2022. This year much awaited announcement for reservation to Pahari community was made. Though security forces continue to wipe out terrorism in J&K, targeted killings in Kashmir emerged as a major challenge. KP employees shifted to Jammu fearing lives in the valley but government has not made any commitment for their relocation.
