A family of seven including two minors had a miraculous escape after a houseboat capsized into River Jhelum, The Bund near State Bank of India, as a result of strong winds and rainfall here this evening. The family is now pleading with the local administration to provide them with a safer living arrangement. They have alleged that their repeated requests for compensation to repair their houseboat were denied, exacerbating their current situation.
