Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid, the management body of the Jama Masjid in Srinagar, has expressed strong opposition to the government’s decision to ban Jumma tul Wida prayers at the mosque. The authorities had asked the management to lock the gates of the mosque on the morning of the last Friday of Ramadan, citing the decision to ban the prayers.
