The Jammu-Srinagar highway was closed on Monday after fresh snowfall in the Bannihal area.
Traffic police department said keeping in view the safety of the traveller , vehicle will be not allowed to move on the highway. At Banihal about two-feet snow has accumulated. Men and machinery has been deployed to clear the snow around Jawahar Tunnel .
The department said situation will be reviewed after an improvement in the weather
