Around 500 Kanals (62.5 acres) of land has been brought under border cultivation in the area of villages Chalyari Khurd, Chalyari Kalan, Sayal, and Chachwal of Rajpura Block, District Samba. This land had remained uncultivated since 1999, but with the joint efforts of the District Administration and the Agriculture Department, the farmers of the border areas are now hopeful of increasing their income.
