A car smuggling cattle in Nud broke the naka barrier and hit a policeman, after which he was seriously injured in Samba here on Wednesday night. In the meanwhile the smugglers had gone a few meters ahead after breaking the barrier when their car fell into a deep ditch, in which two smugglers died on the spot while another smuggler was seriously injured. The incident happened on Wednesday night at 9 o’clock when a car loaded with two cattle’s was going from Samba to Mansar, the police deployed at Nud naka signalled to stop at the barrier, but the smugglers drove away the car instead of stopping the car and also hit a policeman while running away, after which the policeman was seriously injured, who was brought to the district hospital Samba with the help of other policemen.
