Amritsar, Punjab: As Punjab gears up for the assembly elections, the arms licence holders of arms have begun depositing their ammunitions with the gun house owners and police station. The move has come up after the state electoral officer ordered the district administration to do the same to ensure peaceful polling. Punjab goes to polls on February 4. As per reports, over 1 lakh and 30 thousand licensed weapons were deposited during the Parliamentary elections.
