A raid was conducted in the presence of a duty magistrate at a rented accommodation near the Cooperative Bank in Surankote Market. During the raid, Police uncovered 146 bottles of country-made liquor, allegedly meant for illegal distribution. In addition to the contraband, cash amounting to ₹62,200 was recovered from the house, suspected to be proceeds from the illegal activity.
