Pahari leader and independent candidate Karamjit Singh said he will not contest from Anantnag-Rajouri seat and will support Apni Party Zaffar Iqbal Manhas candidate. He had earlier filed nomination from this seat as an independent candidate. Ex J&K Dy CM Nirmal Singh welcoming the decision said it will ensure that “nationalistic” votes are not divided.
