Chhultim Chonjor, also known as “Manji of Ladakh” was awarded Padma Shri. Chonjor constructed 38-km s road from Kargyak in Zanskar towards Darcha of Himachal Pradesh. He said the decision to construct a road was to mitigate the pain and trouble people face while travelling.
