NIT scholars from various leading institutions on Tuesday held a protest demanding a hike in stipend & put Fellowship forthwith. The protest demonstration was held on campus and in front of the Department of Science and Technology (DST) in the Srinagar campus. The scholars have further threatened to approach the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) if their demands are not met.
