Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri briefing media about the meeting of PM Narendra modi’s meeting with the Chief Advisor of Bangladesh’s interim government, Muhammad Yunus, said: “The Prime Minister also underlined India’s concerns regarding the safety and security of minorities in Bangladesh, including Hindus, and expressed his expectation that the Government of Bangladesh would ensure their protection, including by thoroughly investigating all cases of atrocities committed against them.”
