Militants fired upon minority guard picket at Herpora Batagund area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Tuesday. A police official said that militants fired upon minority guard picket from a distance, which was retaliated by guards. In this incident no loss of life or injury was reported. Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off to nab fleeing militants.
