In Mendhar, the government building of the Rural Development Department was seized by the Tehsildar Mendhar on the orders of the court. According to official information, contractor Mohammad Akram Khan had filed a case against the Rural Development Department in District court Poonch, claiming that the department had got work done worth Rs. 9 lakh 40 thousand from him, for which the department did not pay the contractor. After which the court ordered to seize the building. On this occasion, along with the Tehsildar of Mendhar, the Naib Tehsildar, Patwari, Lambardar of the area, as well as police personnel and locals were present.
