The land in around 500 mt area of Duksar, Dalwa, Sangaldan areas of Gool sub division of Ramban district has started sinking and so far 15 homes have been damaged and families shifted to safer places. Ramban district administration has shot a letter to the Geological Survey of India (GSI), the Railways and the GREF authorities to immediately visit the area and ascertain the causes of land sinking. The motor-able road in the area has also been damaged after which the alternate road has been opened in Samban area of Ramban for vehicular movement.
