A fierce gunfight is underway in the Juthana area of Kathua district, leaving SDPO Border Kathua Dhrij Singh Kotach and SOG jawans injured. According to sources, the encounter began when security forces launched a search operation in the area, following a tip-off about the presence of militants. As the forces approached the suspected location, they came under heavy fire from the militants, triggering the encounter.
