Masrat, a 26-year-old from Srinagar’s old city, is the Valley’s first female education entrepreneur, using the COVID 19 to launch her startup “smart classes home tuition” and employing at least 80 teachers across Kashmir. Masrat discovered a window of opportunity when the entire world turned to online schooling. She had never imagined that a “simple idea” to reduce the influence of COVID-19 on children’s schooling would turn into a viable business venture for her.
