Indian Institute of Skiing & Mountaineering (ISM) organized two trekking guide courses of 10 days each in Kargil up to Advance camp of Nun the highest peak in Zanaskar. The teams were lead by Col J S Dhillon, a renowned moun taineer and former Director of HMI Darjeeling & IISM Gulmarg, DC Kargil. 20 students from all over the country with many local students participated in each course.
