Judicial commission reaches Mahakumbh Mela Kshetra in Prayagraj to investigate the stampede which occurred here on January 29, 2025. According to reports, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered a judicial probe on Wednesday for the stampede at Mahakumbh during Amrit Snan. According to reports, a three-membered judicial committee shall probe into the matter. The committee will submit its report within a month. The panel is headed by Justice(retired) Harsh Kumar and has former DGP VK Gupta and retired IAS officer DK Singh. He also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 25 lakh for the family of the deceased in the Mahakumbh Mela.
