NC vice President, Omar Abdullah filed nomination paper from  Ganderbal constituency.  JKUM presidnet, Ishfaq Jabbar, DPAP leader, Qaiser Sultan, PDP   Jammat Ali Shaheen and Bashir Mir and independent candidate Sahil Farooq filed nomination papers from  Ganderbal and Kangan constituencies
