In connection with the celebration of Income tax day on July 24, Aaykar Jyoti – a mass awareness campaign for general public was started from Chandigarh which today reached at Kathua . A Large number of prominent citizen Along with Assistant Commissioner Jammu S K Sharma welcomed the Aaykar Jyoti . While talking to media SK sharma said that the Aaykar Jyoti was started from Chandigarh and after passing through Amritsar, Jalandhar , the Jyoti reached Kathua and will go back from Jammu to Chandigarh on 24 July . He said the main aim of this mass awareness campaign is to make people aware about taxes and encourage them to pay the taxes to build a strong nation.
