An employee of the forest protection squad was injured late last night during a scuffle with timber smugglers in Aglar Pulwama area of Romshi Forest Range. The employee, Hilal Ahmad, received 5 stitches on his head. The team was on routine night patrolling in the area after receiving inputs about timber smugglers being active in the area. The team seized horses of timber smuggler and also and illicit timber.
