Sub-contractors engaged in four-lanning of Jammu Srinagar national highway are allegedly dumping debris in Chenab in district Ramban in violation of the directions of National Green Tribunal.
Social activist and local laywer Swaran Kishore who had filed complaint before NGT said after the directions were issued by NGT to stop this practice, there were some results on the ground level but once again this practice is going on unabated . He said if it continues like this there could be serioius water problem in Ramban.
Divisional Comissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma said NGT directions will be implemented fully and strictly.
