In a significant change, the Central government has notified land laws, which now enables citizen of India to buy land in Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh, as the Ministry of Home Affairs notified UT of Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation (Adaptation of Central Laws) Third Order, 2020. With notification twelve state laws have been repealed as a whole out of the 26 others adapted with changes and substitutes.
