Authorities in Jammu & Kashmir are still insisting on producing State Subject for getting benefit of Ladli Beti scheme, even though it is not a legal document after Art 370 was revoked on Aug 5, 2019. Under the scheme the J&K government will make contribution of Rs. 1000/- per month from the birth of the girl child / account opening date for the next 14 years. The government will contribute Rs. 168000.
