Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to release the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s manifesto for the upcoming Jammu & Kashmir Assembly elections on September 6. During his two-day visit, Shah will release the party’s manifesto, or Sankalp Patra, marking the official start of the BJP’s push for the three-phased elections, which are scheduled to begin on September 18. Youths of Jammu say they hope party’s manifesto will address the issue of unemployment and promoting tourism in Jammu.
