Anti-Corruption Bureau Jammu has unearthed 225 Kanal Land scam and has registered five FIRs against revenue officials and land grabbers in this regard. ACB officials addressing media said custodian land in Arwarwan, Mishriwala, and Bhalwal was fraudulently grabbed by land grabbers and gangsters with the cooperation of Revenue and Police officers, revenue records were tampered and the land was sold to various individuals. ACB said this land was allotted to POK refugees in 1956 by J&K government. Land grabbers illegally got power of attorney from this allottees and land records were illegally changed. ACB officials said searches were being carried out 16 places at residence of revenue officials and land grabbers.
