On 72nd Independence Day J&K government MLC Vibodh Gupta visited house of Martyr Tufail Hussain in the remote village of Doodsan Bala, unfurled flag with his family members and local people of the area. He also visited the grave of Tufail Hussain martyred on 31 Dec 2017 and paid rich tribute to him. Coining an unique idea, MLC Vibodh Gupta adopted the family of martyr Tufail Hussain and promised to extend all possible support. He appealed the common masses and leaders across nation to come forward and pledge this Independence Day to adopt the family of at least one martyr and serve them as their family member. He further asked them to take the responsibility of maintaining and cleaning the grave or memorial of the martyr around them. It will be true tribute to their esteem sacrifice, he added. MLC announced a sum of 1 Lakh from his CDF to build concrete boundaries around the grave.
