The 53rd anniversary of Vijay Diwas was commemorated with great fervour at Shaheedi Smarak near Thana Chowk, Udhampur. The solemn event saw a massive turnout of citizens, ex-servicemen, war widows, NCC cadets, students, and youth, all gathered to pay homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
