A 14-year-old boy, Mohammad Ashfaq, son of Mohammad Aslam, tragically lost his life due to electrocution in Gohlad Malakpur village of Mendhar subdivision on Thursday. The incident occurred while Ashfaq was climbing a tree in his courtyard to gather leaves for goats. He accidentally came into contact with an overhead electric wire, leading to a fatal electric shock and a fall from the tree.Neighbors rushed him to the Mendhar Sub-District Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
