The Tawi River, flowing through Jammu city, once known for its pristine beauty, has suffered significant degradation over the years. Efforts are now underway to restore its former glory, focusing on cleaning, conservation, and sustainable measures to preserve its ecological balance. Tawi River Front Project is a major step in this direction. The first phase of the project is likely to be completed by January 2025.
