A BSF SI was died when the car in which he was travelling fell into deep canal at Jasrota , Kathua area. As per report three BSF personnel were travelling in a car on Jasrota road. The driver failed to control the car on sharp curve and fell into deep canal. Two persons came out and were rescued by local people, but third one remained trapped into car. A rescue operation was launched by Police and SDRF and fish out the car and BSF personnel. He was shifted to GMC Kathua but doctor de cleared him brought dead. The deceased was identified as BSF ASI purshotam Singh son of Dhian Singh resident of Sidhpur, kangra, HP.
