26 year old Azaz Ahmed Tantray died after buried under an avalanche in Machhal.He along with his wife Zareena Begum was returning to home village Ring Bala when , at around 3.15 pm they came under a massive avalanche between T Shuntwari and Chakki. Zareena had a narrow escape Azaz got buried under 10-15 feet of snow. An Army patrol nearby witnessed the incident and immediately commenced rescue operation and was recovered after a four hour and immediate CPR and medical aid was administered for resuscitation. However, unfortunately the individual succumbed to his injuries.
