Handwara Police registered a total of 50 cases under the NDPS Act in the year 2023. Out of these cases, 48 were meticulously challaned, ensuring legal actions against the offenders. Police seized substances with an estimated value of one crore, underscoring their success in intercepting and preventing the distribution of narcotics. This substantial haul not only disrupts the supply chain of illegal drugs but also serves as a powerful deterrent to potential offenders.
