PCC president Vikar Rasool said Ghulam Nabi Azad as a chief minister was the home minister of state also and also headed UHC so why didn’t arrest leaders having links with militants? Rasool said Azad has been sent by BJP to damage Cong and cut secular votes. Azad in an interview said he had sent a report to the then PM Dr. Manmohan Singh and UHome Minister, Shivraj Patil about the links of some political leaders of the State with the militants but the Central leadership took no action.
