Prof. Veena Gupta is an eminent Dogri writer and linguist. She holds the first-ever Ph.D. in Dogri and is also known as an encyclopedia of Dogri literature. Last year she got the prestigious Sahitya Akademi award for her collection of 06 features entitled ‘ SHA ROOPAK’ in dogri language.
