N Delhi: MoS external affairs V K Singh will return from Iraq on Monday with mortal remains of the 38 Indians killed in Mosul by ISISI
He is scheduled to reach Amritsar to hand over the mortal remains to the victims’ families from Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
Bodies of 38 Indians will be brought back on Monday. The 39th body is not being brought back now since the DNA testing had only provided a 70% match.
The others have had more than 95% match.
27 belonged to Punjab, four hailed from Himachal Pradesh, two from West Bengal and the remaining from Bihar(Agencies)
