At an altitude of 19,024 feet, the Umling La fashion run in eastern Ladakh beat the previous Guinness world record for the highest-altitude fashion show in the world. The event was organised by the Ladakh Art And Entertainment Alliance, in collaboration with the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, featuring models hailing from 16 countries, including two from Ladakh.
