Sericulture department Udhampur organized Cocoon Auction Market which was started from 28th of June 2022 and will conclude on July 24th For the last two years, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent restrictions imposed, the farmers of cocoon suffered as they did not get proper rates of their produce. however, this year rates have increased and the highest rate recorded was above 1500/- per kg.
