Munshi ram, an 84-year-old resident of ward no. 1 in Udhampur, has showcased the timeless adage, “necessity is the mother of invention,” through his remarkable ingenuity. Inspired by the prime minister’s “vocal for local” and “green India” initiatives, a visionary has transformed a regular bicycle into an electric cycle (e-cycle), often referred to as a green cycle using discarded laptop batteries, and e-waste promoting sustainability and self-reliance.
