Department of Agriculture Udhampur has successfully cultivated 5 lakh lavender mother plants in 100 kanal of land in Incha village of Tehsil Ramnagar in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur District . This marks the first-ever lavender cultivation in Udhampur, a region deemed perfect for this aromatic crop. These mother plants will be distributed to local farmers, offering a double benefit.
