Traffic on Jammu-Srinagar national resumed after it was blocked for about three-hour due to landslides at the Ramban. Man and Machinery were deployed to clear the slides. Yeterday the highway remained blocked 6-hr due to landslide Udhampur area.
Jammu-Srinagar highway has frequently remained blocked off late due to rains and widening resulting in landslides. Divisional Commissioner Jammu had yesterday visited Udhampur and directed executing agencies to find ways for stopping landslides and minimise time for throwing open traffic at the earliest
