Poonch, May 28: In a tragic incident, three teenagers drowned in a river today while taking bath to beat the summer heat in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
Bodies of the three boys, aged between 14 and 16 years, were fished out from the river by rescuers, a police official said.
The deceased were identified as Mohammad Altaf (14) of Gagriya, Imran and Musrat Khaleel, both 16 and hailing from ward number two, the official said.
He said the boys were taking bath in the river adjacent to a school and accidentally entered the deep waters. (Agencies)
