Jammu:  Play Jungle me khulne wali Khidkee was staged in Jammu as part of  the Theatre Olymics.

The play explores the deteriorating values of social and human relationships in this consumerism oriented era, and the zest in individuals to come out of the murky clouds. The play is about a rich industrialist, his wife, and a social sciences scholar. The man, who owns a lavish weekend cottage on a wooded cliff in Khandala, comes to the cottage along with his wife for a weekend on a stormy evening. In the night, a youth, stuck in the storm asks for shelter. The man, an extreme male egotist, sees this as an opportunity to display his superiority in front of his wife, and gives him shelter. The husband, during the course of the night, keeps on insulting and belittling the youth while the wife, who still has some values left, keeps on sympathizing with the youth. Series of events occur and the docile, submissive woman transforms into an open, progressive, and aware woman.
