An army personnel his daughter and a civilian were injured in a terrorist attack at Sunjwan Army camp in Jammu in Jammu and Kashmir early Saturday morning.
A joint operation by the Army and police is underway. Schools within 500 meters of the camp have been asked to stay closed by the district administration.

It is, the first such attack in Jammu this year. The military station, spread over many acres is in the heart of Jammu city and has residential quarters as well as schools inside.
The terrorists used the rear side to enter the camp.
Heavy security has been deployed at all entry and exit points.
There were intelligence inputs about possible attacks in the state, and security forces were alert.
