Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has assured that Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood will be restored at the “right time”. Although he didn’t specify the exact timeline, he had previously hinted that the Centre might restore the statehood before October this year, with legislative assembly elections also possibly being held around the same time.
